Richard Guy, managing director
Richard is a practising senior designer. His early experience includes six years at Cogent and two at BMP Countrywide. During this time he undertook design and photographic art direction for accounts such as Rover Group, Swish, Rolls-Royce and Jewson. He founded Arapaho Communications in 1994 to handle design, advertising and corporate identity work. In response to demand from existing clients he set up Accrue in 2001 to specialise in Corporate Reporting.
Richard Gillingwater, director of strategy
Richard is an experienced consultant with an impressive track record in brand development, marketing and communications strategies. He has extensive experience in the automotive, retail and financial sectors.
As director for strategy, his role is to help businesses align their people's thinking with their brand values – in order to bring the brand to life externally in the customer experience.
Trained as a graphic designer and qualified in marketing, Richard is also a keen student of behavioural psychology – exploring how people construct their view of themselves, and examining the impact that brands have in defining our society.
Polly Bryant, account director
After graduating from university in Media Management Polly worked for traditional full service agencies for 11 years. Her last position before joining Arapaho in 2005 was production manager for Taylor & Taylor Advertising in Bristol. She was responsible for scheduling, distributing and monitoring of all agency campaigns and print projects.
Polly's clients have included: Brains, Yeo Valley, Loreal, Garnier, Osram, Soil Association, Wrigleys, Baxters, Knorr, Maybelline, Optrex, Thorntons, Vanish (Reckitt Benckiser), Scholl, Wyevale, BBC Groundforce and Portmeirion. Besides her in-company training, Polly has undergone specific project management tutoring with the Chartered Management Institute.
Trudi Pullman, account director
With 12 years in the design industry, Trudi has particular experience of dealing with plcs. She is used to dealing with major clients up to board level. She has worked on annual reports for a wide variety of FTSE top 100 and AIM listed companies. Her senior designer background with her production and print management knowledge make Trudi a valuable member of the team.
Colin Goodall, creative director
As creative director, Colin is responsible for all aspects of the design and copywriting process. He works closely with the creative team to produce highly effective and innovative solutions.
Colin has worked in the industry for over 17 years, and has extensive design experience that spans brand communication, below-the-line advertising, merchandising, point-of-sale and marketing.
Colin has worked extensively on both 2D and 3D design projects – including signage, in-store graphics, corporate identity and print communications. His client list includes NFU Mutual, Friends Provident, AXA, Royal Mail and BP.
Colin graduated from Middlesex University with a First Class Honours Degree in Graphic Design.
